BASIC INFORMATION.

BACKGROUND.

growing up from an abusive household bereft of care and wealth, jonas took the initiative to escape from his oppressive father and nonchalant mother. albeit his mother has also suffered, she was far too attached to his father to at least protect jonas his ruthlessness. he was merely a teenager and have just graduated from elementary, but he understood too well that his mother was beyond saving. he had no other choice but to leave them be. he can't accept living this life any longer, he'd rather be a runaway.for long days and longer nights, he treaded the dark and perilous alleys of manila and begged for alms in the busy roads of quezon city, even stole from street vendors just so he could fill his malnourished stomach. within the two years that he lived as a beggar, he found out that the treatment to children like him was almost no different than how his father treated him. destitute people like him are in the lowest chain of the society, and unfortunately, it's quite normalized for them to be stripped off their dignity wherever they go.but his life changed upon meeting a humble, elderly couple who weren't blessed by a child for as long as they're married. fate seemed to conspire and brought jonas to pasig to sneak a few packs of biscuits from a blind, elderly vendor. however, the said vendor, though lacking sight, is abundant in terms of the other senses. but despite of throwing a fit, she only offered a bargain to the child--help her manage her stall in exchange of a few meals. the woman has a loving husband who works as jeepney driver. and in a few months time, they offered jonas to become their foster child. he began to enter high school, supported by the joint efforts of his new parents, though he insists to work even after school, helping in his mother's stall and helping his neighbors with basic carpentry, plumbing, vulcanizing, and carwashing in exchange for a few peso bills. but then, it could only take him as far as finishing high school. the couple became sickly over time and he had to give up going to college by then.for the sake of affording the couple's medications and maintenance, he had to take all kinds of jobs here and there. he could even survive with just four hours of sleep or none at all, as long as he can earn from the hours he sacrificed resting for.the nineteen year old jonas has a natural charm of his own. he's handsome, has a tall and healthy stature, and a nice personality that easily makes people like him. it wouldn't be surprise if you'll find him performing in established macho bars or entertaining wealthy men and women for sexual and non-sexual companionships aside from his usual rackets. none of it mattered if it meant returning the favor that the old couple have given him. it's difficult to find a decent job for people like him, but at least he's earning more decent amount. moreover, his regular and past clients are generous enough with their cash bonuses and several other gifts.when the old couple passed, one of his clients offered him a sufficient unit to move into. all cash left in his stash were used to purchase a car and he applied as a driver under a company offering mobility services. sometimes, he accepts private driving services, and you can still find him in prominent bars as a bartender, waiter, and also as a performer.
